I usually just send ...
I usually just send back for refunds. I had an external? hd sent that was covered in dust and the cables just wrapped around each other in a mess... sent it back. I had a oem bareback dvdrw sent that was advertised as a black back retail dvdrw... sent it back. Had a cpu sent that had the box seals broken... sent it back. Had none of these problems in the US. I even had a build made for me once where the cpu pins were all bent and hence not even in the socket properly - sent it back. UK sucks

"sending me ...
"sending me reconditioned parts sold as? brand new retail" do they have warranty ?

SO I just finished ...
SO I just finished my first full build. I have done many hardware upgrades in the past but never a full build. Thanks for the great videos! They were a? big help throughout the process. ? They were also the reason that I bought my gear from Newegg and not TigerDirect! Thanks again!

I can't but my ...
I can't but my friend when I was at school built a ZX81 on his own when he was 9... not just buying parts but actually printing the circuit boards by himself and setting the chips. He also built? his own keyboard from scratch. After a stint of designing satelite missile guidance systems, he now designs smart phones for a living.

Would appreciate if ...
Would appreciate if someone can let me know their experience of the Asus p8z68-v pro/gen 3 mobo, I am frustrated at some basic oversights (ie. no wireless, and only 2 controlled fan sockets) Have not started my build yet because waiting for a wireless pci and some fan splitters. But I am concerned about the sata. The user guide says you have to put windows os on before you can use the sata connectors...? but how do you do that if you need the sata connectors to upload the os?

The P8z68-v pro/ ...
The P8z68-v pro/gen3 works with intel i5 and i7 cpus. Without looking it up, I would assume the LX will do the same but I would check that the socket is? LGA1155.

tbh, if you can ...
tbh, if you can afford it I would try and go for at least one size up gpu. The 7950 is going to be the bare minimum to play the games coming out at the moment and you are going to be playing with all the settings on the lowest possible. I have 2x7950 in sli formation on my current rig and just had to buy a new build because I want to play GW2 on full graphics when it comes out. Tbh, I wouldn't bother with sli... buy the best single card? you can afford.

can't comment on ...
can't comment on the Thermaltake, Raidmax? cases but the corsair case he uses in the video looks sweet. I bought the Haf after reading lots of good reviews. I was annoyed that it lacked usb3 upfront so had to buy an additional panel because I wanted this feature. Also it just looks like a dust magnet, so based on reviews ended up spending almost the same again on DEMCiflex filters. If I had seen this video before, I would have gone with the corsair he uses.

One is a HAF which ...
One is a HAF which has great reviews? but you will need to buy a usb 3 front panel if you wish to have easy access to usb3, also best to buy some dust filters (DEMCiflex HAF custom filters will cost about $52 USD). The other one is a corsair which looks really sweet. By the looks of it the HAF is probably the cooler of the 2, but the corsair looks easier to manage your build. I bought the HAF but wished I had seen the corsair before hand.

I like that case he ...
I like that case he uses... wish I had seen this video before purchasing the parts for my latest build. I have built a few computers now but these videos are still helpful with a couple of good pointers to save time and effort. ... and yeh, the very first build I made I bent some of the cpu pins... which is why I always use the stock fan these days. Also had a disaster with a screwdriver on my first build when putting? the mother board it slipped and destroyed the board.

he works for newegg ...
he works for newegg... if he damages something he can just replace it and send you the faulty one (just joking on that last comment... when I lived in CA Newegg and Tigerdirect were very reputable sources but here in the UK I have had a run in with more than one company sending me reconditioned parts sold as brand? new retail)

i used super glue, some chips melted and i had to by a new mother bord. i had like 50? dollars left and had to by cheaper parts. when i was done and turned on my computer the screen was all green and pixle ated, i spent 47.92 on a crappy home made termanal. oh well at least it works, thanks for the video.
